It's comforting that my father comes to me in dreams.
He never spoke about his sadness. He harbored plenty of pain. Now, he is at peace.
Last night, he assured me that he was in heaven.
- It will take some time for me to find peace in my mind, though...
Very sorry for your loss. I have also lost my father, but this happened 17 years ago. This song also reminds of my father as well. It is indeed a very powerful song, I always get teary every time I hear it. Over all these years, I find my father constantly giving me comfort in my dreams too I have way too many to list. We seem to have a lot in common.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment. I think about people like you, who lose a parent at such a young age. I tell myself, that I didn't have enough time with my father, but still, I had 25 years with him. I definitely empathize with you.
